I haven't updated in a little while. I was waiting for some kind of BIG news, but several people have asked me what's going on so I thought I should quit ignoring the blog (which reminds me, please feel free to comment every once in awhile so I know you're out there!!). Anyway, I was told that if my prints DIDN'T work I would hear something in two weeks. It has been THREE weeks and two days and I have heard nothing. I'm not doing the happy dance yet, but I do hope that it means the news is good. The Mister did his prints a few weeks ago without a hitch...so I'm confident that his will be fine. In the meantime we decided to go ahead and have the docs notarized (thanks J, I love you, you're the best!). Friday we are getting the police letters. Then we send the whole packet for the agency to review...make sure I've done it right and dotted all the stuff that needs dotting and crossed whatever needed to be crossed. After they look it over they will send it back to me to send to the Department of State for apostille. That should happen quick. Then we'll send back to the agency with a big fat check (hint- donations welcome :)) and the wait will begin. The wait we've been waiting for. I periodically get nervous thinking about it. I thought about it in the shower and my belly was doing flip-flops...in a good way though.
Playhouse is coming along nicely thanks to the Babushka and Dedushka that have been working so so hard on it. I will send pictures soon. I bought some awesome fabric with little garden gnomes on it for curtains. :)
